About Me
After working in academia for several years, I am excited to take on a new challenge: Work as a full stack engineer! Engaging with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and more, I develop sites, apps, and programs that provide functionality and delight.
My background is in communication and linguistics. For the past ten years, I have been teaching full time at a small, private university, helping students become better communicators and researchers (and better humans, I'd like to think). I love doing research, learning new skills, and finding ways to communicate what I learn to a variety of audiences.
Currently, I am completing the Codecademy Full Stack Engineer path because I look forward to helping organizations communicate and achieve their mission online. As a linguist, I enjoy learning computer languages, and as a self-starting professional, I look forward to completing challenging projects and assignments.
